To all current and prospective Bear Scouts, welcome to a new year of Scouting!
It was great to see many of you at our virtual Join Night event last week, and I can’t wait to get the whole group back together to start working towards earning our Bear badges. This year we’ll be learning about building, how to safely use a pocket knife, planning and setting up for a camping trip, learning about duty to God and our country, and, of course, hiking. In addition, there are plenty of exciting electives offered this year–we’ll discuss those at our next meeting and decide which adventures to tackle first!
This year will be different, for sure, but I know we’ll all DO OUR BEST to adapt to new circumstances, and find new ways to have fun and serve our community together.
