Youth Protection Training
- All parents participating in Scouting must complete Youth Protection Training, and Training must be renewed every two years. Youth Protection Training can be done online–simply create an account on the my.scouting.org website, and complete the Training at your leisure.

- Scout Life is the official magazine of the Scouts BSA, aimed at Scouts ages 6-18. Their website also includes games, jokes, fun and educational things to read and learn about.
Tres Ranchos District Website
- Pack 506 is part of the Tres Ranchos District, which encompasses Cub Scout Packs, Scout BSA Troops, Venturing Crews, and Varsity Scout Teams in Castro Valley, Hayward, San Leandro, and San Lorenzo.
