Bear Cubs is open to any child in the third grade. As a Den, children work together with their parents to achieve the rank of Bear.
During the 2021/22 school year, this group of Scouts was combined with Scouts one year younger than them. If we can get enough adult volunteer support, we’d love to be able to split the groups again. The program is designed with unique, age-appropriate adventures for each grade level, so as Scouts learn and mature, they advance from one rank to the next. If you have a third grader and are at all interested in becoming a Den Leader, we are actively looking to fill this role.
