In a typical year, the following in-person events are part of Pack 506’s annual programming.
Scouting for Food
- The first two Saturdays in November, Pack 506 Cub Scouts assist Boy Scouts from Troop 503 in distributing flyers, and then collecting and sorting canned food for local food banks.
Holiday Celebration with Scout Troop 503
- Celebrate the end of the year, hosted by the big scouts. Including various crafts, activities and card making for local seniors.
Pinewood Derby
- Scouts race Pinewood Derby cars they’ve designed and built in a friendly competition.
End-of-Year Advancement
- Scouts are awarded their earned rank patches and other achievements at this potluck barbecue, marking the end of our year’s programming.
